Saxdor 400 GTO

The Saxdor 400 GTO has a trick worth knowing. At rest, its side terraces fold down to the full beam of the boat, opening the deck to the sea on both sides and turning a compact twelve-metre cruiser into something that feels like a private island.

That cleverness runs through the whole boat. The open wheelhouse stretches the living space wide, the design is crisp and modern throughout, and the layout makes the most of every metre. Below, a forward double cabin and a separate bathroom give you a private corner to change and refresh, with room for a small group to settle in for the day.

On the move she is genuinely quick, up to forty knots, which makes her ideal for chasing a quiet cove or crossing to a beach club before the tables fill. Up to twelve guests come aboard, and the boat asks very little of anyone beyond enjoyment. It is easy, direct, uncomplicated fun.

She suits a smaller group who care more about the water than the wardrobe, and who like the idea of a boat that opens right up the moment the engines stop.

Drop the terraces, and the sea does the rest.
