Some boats simply know their stretch of coast, and this Sunseeker 88 has spent her life on the run between the Iles de Lerins and St-Tropez. Twenty seven metres of easy elegance, she wears gloss walnut and cream leather inside, a warm, unhurried interior that softens the bright Mediterranean light. Four cabins rest eight guests overnight, while by day she carries up to twelve along the coast and holds a good crowd at anchor when the occasion turns social. A crew of four keep the day flowing without ever seeming to hurry, and she settles into a comfortable twenty eight knots when it is time to move between anchorages. She is a familiar and much loved shape on this coastline, the kind of boat people recognise and return to.
