The Mangusta 33 was built for company, and she gathers a group beautifully. Cruising with up to ten guests, she suits the large party as easily as the extended family, with five cabins welcoming ten overnight and a crew of five keeping the whole thing effortless. Her character shows most clearly at the stern, where an expansive beach club opens onto the water and the day tends to settle. This is a boat for the water sports, and she comes ready for them, with seabobs, jet skis, snorkelling gear and more waiting for anyone who wants to make the most of the sea. Forward, the bow lounge offers the calmer counterpoint, generous with sunbathing and complete with an on-deck spa for the slow part of the afternoon. The master suite sits on the main deck, placed for the light and the long views across the surrounding water, so the sea is the first thing you see and the last. At thirty-three metres she has the presence of a proper yacht while keeping a lively edge, a top speed of twenty-five knots giving her the reach to follow the day wherever it leads. She moves between the busy port and the empty cove with equal ease. Some yachts are made for stillness and others for motion.
