Villa Aqua

Villa Aguadita sits quietly on the Presqu’île de Saint-Tropez, without neighbours, a short drive from the village and around twenty minutes on foot from the sea. It is the kind of place that asks nothing of you but to slow down.

The house wears its two natures easily. From the lane it reads as a classic Provençal mas, with lavender shutters, a tiled roof and a wrought-iron pergola softened by driftwood. Step inside and the mood turns contemporary: terracotta floors and a stone fireplace meet a concrete kitchen island and clean, considered lines. Old and new, held in balance.

Days here gather around the outdoors. An L-shaped pool, thirteen metres by six, reaches into a Mediterranean garden of lawn and mature trees. There is a pétanque court for the late afternoon, loungers for the hours in between, and a long table under the pergola that seats twelve as the light goes.

Indoors, a salon with a fireplace and a library opens to a dining room for ten, while the kitchen, built around its island, is ready for a chef or an unhurried family breakfast. Six double bedrooms, each air-conditioned and en-suite with an Italian shower, look out over the garden and the hills beyond. The master suite adds a dressing room and a private balcony.

Weekly housekeeping, a dedicated concierge and a personal welcome come as standard. A private chef, transfers and a day on the water can be arranged whenever you wish.
