Cayman 540

The Cayman 540 WA is one of the newest faces on the water, sporty, striking and finished with a contemporary edge. At seventeen metres she combines powerful lines with genuinely usable space, which is a harder balance to strike than it looks.

Her design is built around openness. The layout feels far larger than her length suggests, with room to move, sunbathe and gather across a deck that opens generously to the sea. Stabilisers keep her steady at anchor, so lunch and swimming stay comfortable even when the water has a little movement in it. Two cabins below sleep four, and up to twelve guests come aboard for a day on the coast.

Underway she is quick and assured, cruising happily at around thirty-two knots, which makes the run out from Saint-Tropez to a quiet cove short and easy. She is a boat for guests who want something fresh and current, a newer model with clean modern styling rather than a familiar name that has been on the water for years.

With her mix of space, stability and pace, she handles a lively group as easily as a relaxed couple, and looks the part wherever she happens to drop anchor.

New, quick and easy to like, she makes a strong first impression and then backs it up.
