The Ferretti 720 is a yacht designed around the idea of feeling at home on the water. Drawn in collaboration with the architect Filippo Salvetti and first shown at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2019, she made an immediate impression with her sense of volume, the height of her spaces and the many distinct areas aboard. The effect is of a floating home rather than a boat, comfortable and calm in a way that reveals itself over the course of a day. The interior is where she truly speaks. The colours and materials of the main deck carry through into the owner suite, creating a sense of continuity from one space to the next. A considered mix of textures gives the rooms real depth, striped ceilings, grooved walls and soft headboards working together in a quiet, natural harmony, while carefully placed lighting warms the whole yacht as the day turns to evening. Available for charter around St Tropez, she offers four cabins for up to eight guests overnight, with up to twelve sharing the day and a crew of two attending to it all. At just over twenty metres she moves at a comfortable twenty-eight knots, with the flybridge a fine place to take in the coast under way or gather in the shade at anchor. Snorkelling gear is aboard for the clear water below. She rewards the guest who values comfort and considered design. A few days aboard feel less like a charter and more like a stay.
