MATSU was built for the coast at its busiest and its quietest. At thirty-seven metres she has the presence of a superyacht and the versatility to match, whether the plan is a week cruising the Riviera or a base in Cannes when the events season takes over the town.
Built by ISA in 2009 and given an extensive refit in 2024, she feels current in every sense. Three MTU engines carry her at an easy twenty knots, with a good deal more in reserve when the moment calls for it. Anchor and navigation stabilisers keep her composed at sea, while a Jacuzzi on deck and another within turn the day steadily toward the water. Four cabins accommodate eight guests overnight, looked after by a crew of six who keep the whole operation quiet and seamless.
Her particular talent is the harbour. Alongside during MIPIM, the Cannes Lions, TFWA or the Film Festival, she hosts up to seventy guests, which makes her as much a private venue as a yacht. When the water calls instead, jet skis, SeaBobs and paddleboards are aboard, with a premium sound system to carry the evening along.
