The Aquariva 33 is a piece of Riva history you can actually take out for the day. Built in 2017 at the historic yard in Sarnico, this particular boat is a special edition signed by Sir Elton John, which makes her genuinely one of a kind. Lightly used by her original owner and carefully stored since, she is in effectively like-new condition.
Everything about her is classic Riva. The mahogany and chrome, the low, elegant sheerline, the sense that she was designed as much to be admired as to be driven. At ten metres she is compact and beautifully proportioned, carrying up to six guests for a day on the water with a single crew member at the helm.
From Saint-Tropez she is made for gentle, stylish outings, a morning run across the gulf, a swim in a quiet bay, an aperitif at anchor as the light turns golden. At around twenty-five knots she is quick enough to be fun and refined enough never to feel rushed. She is also a favourite for photo shoots, weddings and events, where her looks do a great deal of the work.
She suits a couple or a small group who understand that some boats are about arriving, and others are about the pleasure of simply being aboard something special.
A Riva like this does not really need an occasion. She is the occasion.
